What we collect

Car Finance Tools runs auto loan and lease calculators in your browser. We do not collect Social Security numbers, credit reports, bank credentials, government IDs, full financing applications, or other sensitive identifying information. We do not run credit checks.

Calculator inputs

Calculator inputs stay in your browser. They are not stored on our servers unless a future feature explicitly requires it (and only with your consent).

Share URLs

Share links encode your calculator inputs into the URL itself using a versioned, base64-encoded payload. The link contains no name, email, address, or other personally identifying information. Anyone with the link can see the inputs you encoded.

Analytics

Aggregate, privacy-respecting analytics may be used to understand which calculators are useful and to fix bugs. We do not log raw scenario payloads or sensitive financial combinations.
